vividhaditya
Dear friends, I am a little confused. In Hinduism while it is prohibited for a woman to participate in any religious rituals during her menstruation period, is it permitted during her marriage. Generally, the marriage day is fixed according to lagnas and not according to the woman's period. What if the woman's period day doesn't clash with the marriage day but gets postponed due to anxiety and gets menstruation on her marriage day? Is she permitted to sit through the rituals and the marriage puja. Regards, Vividh
U.Sanjeeva Rao
A girl in period is not eligible for marriage rituals. For this they postpone mensuration by pills. Mensuration is treated as impure.
