sunishmittal
Hello, I am trying to translate a Surdas Bhajan and would appreciate help from this forum. While I understand most of the words, I am struggling with the poetic context. If there is another forum that could help, please point me there : Antara : Jita Dekho Tita Shyama Bhayi Hai (Whereever you see, Lord Krishna resides) Shyama Kunj Bana Yamuna Shyama (Please help) Shyama Gagana Ghana Ghata Chaayi Hai (Please help) Sthayi : Saba Rangana Mein Shyama Bhalo Hai (Lord Krishna is there in all colors and forms) Log Kahata Yaha Baat Nayi Hai (People think this is something new or unbelievable) Mada Bauraane Logana Ki (Is it - To cure people’s intoxication) Shyama Putariyaa Badal Gayi Hai (Lord Krishna has changed his image ?) Sanchari : Neelkanth ko Kanth Shyama Hai (Lord Krishna is the means to absorb all the poison of this world) Mriga Mada Shyama Kama Vijayi Hai ( ? ? Lord Krishna has conquered lust and materialism) Chandrashoor ko Hridaya Shyama Hai () Jaladhi Jagat par Shyama Mayi Hai (Lord Krishna rules he Ocean world) Abhoga : Shruti Ke Akshar Shyama Dekhiye (Lord Krishna is in the wisdom of Vedas) Deepshikha par Shyama mayi hai (?) Nara Devan (maybe Debhana) ki Mohara Shyama (Lord Krishan is the ultimate Male God) Alakh Brahma Chavi Shyama Mayi Hai (See Creator Brahma’s reflection in Lord Krishna) All help is appreciated.. Thanks.
