suresh_coimabatore
Most revered sami ji, i am suresh a christian by birth but always an ardent devotee of the godess and i have a very close friend pudumaipriyan alias chandru who also is a devotee of the mother godess some 3 years ago i gifted a stone idol of the godess in a seating position which was about the size of a palm of a grown man we named her 'ulaga nayagi' and worshipped her performing abishekam, archanas, alangarams in a very nice way we treated her as our family member we did all we can to her but all people around us was saying that an idol should not be kept in home but we believed her and to our joy as soon as she came chandru was blessed with a own house (he was the first one to own a house in all of his family and relatives)and our house was filled with overhelming joy his family never fell in short in money though there was some family problems even before she came we use to do navaratri puja every year.,this year too we did navaratri puja and gave vastram to young girls we read devemahatmyam on 9 days but chandru's mother drowned in theertha kund where a mercury linga has been kept at isha following this all our relatives are saying that godess brought this bad luck to us but we firmly believe that mother godess will never bring wrath to a non believer or a believer nowevery one are advicing us to remove the idol from our puja room which idea we never like but every ones criticism is hurting us,this sort of beaviour will never happen to the believers of other religion where every one will advice to show more devotion to god at this juncture i have the following questions; 1.will keeping her idol bring us her wrath and bad luck(will a mother punish her children for not for not looking after her)thoug we did all pujas and nivediyams to her? 2.should we remove her from our puja room? Please get back to us please we love our mother godess who brought us good luck all thro these days please send us some soothing words.... Looking forward for ur soothing reply... Thanking you, truly, s.suresh
