A translation of Ananda Veethi - The Path of Bliss by Ammachi. In rhyming verse.

My soul danced along the Arabian sea,

Inside samadhi's blissful state.

As the fierce fires of lust and hate

Fled, craving ceased to ever torment me.

My spirit found peace in a golden dream

Where the heart forgets all sorrow.

Then my mind emerged to follow

The thought of being love's effulgent stream.

I saw her, my Supreme Mother Divine

With tender hands caress my head.

Bowing at her glory I said:

To you only I belong, now be mine.

She wrapped me within her smiling sunlight

I gazed upon her perfect face.

She led me to that splendorous place-

Her homeland, Brahman glowing fully bright.

Merged in her I saw the clearest ocean,

The earth and Shiva's highest peaks.

The vasty universe which speaks

Of heaven - in me all these had their motion.

Mother told me to ask whatever lives:

Fulfill your highest birth and hear,

The joy of the pure Atman dear

Which comes near by the grace my Devi gives.

With Bharat's aged rishis I'm one Self

From samsara's cage I am free

The bhakti fire flutters in me

And naked pain transforms to Lakshmi's wealth

I tremble now at mother's sweetest call:

Come my daughter, take my right arm

Leave the sad works of bitter harm.

Be mine, be the world's mother, be their all.

Oh lovely goddess, essence of pure mind,

I shall heed the mercy you teach.

Swiftly come and quickly reach

Our children, show them Me, and You they'll find.
