kkavita
hi. I have heard that Brahma, Indra are all just posts assigned to Gods. When this world comes to an end Lord Vishnu takes the entire world into his stomach and later a new world is creatd with new Brahma and other Gods. But i have also heard that Lord Shiva is unaffected and remain the same even after the world ends and when created again. do u guys hav any idea about it
bmsuthar
Shiva is a god of all knowledge, jnan and detached god. Shiv is always in mountains and in Samadhi. Same way, people who gets the real true knowledge of prakritu and ishvar, and get detached from this worldly matters and becomes free of life and death cycles, they merge into shiva and creation and destruction of the world does not effect to such souls. This is a short and quick answer. There are many better answers out there. bmsuthar
Lucifer
It is more of history than religion! Whole of this Shaivya, Brahmana and Vaishnav concept. They are not gods but sects and sect leader for every time of need. No one remains same as all that is born has to die, universal rule, but the sect so honestly and efficiently transfers the knowledge to every member of brotherhood that at any stage there is someone to take place of previous Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu. To define in modern terms they are the best of the laureates and scientist, mastered in every kind of art and knowledge. Everyone has a role, Vishnu taking the world in stomach is more of a reference to fact that he saves whatever could be of physical world so that when situation gets better a restart can be arrange, from varha avatar to Noah's ark you find a reference of world being saved from drowning. It is more of reference of surviving through bad times. Shiva's unaffected figure is actually his excellence at fighting off danger and killing evil, he is a destroyer but not universal, more of everything evil, even perception and myth. He is a figure of true physicist who talks on rule, makes equations, burst myth and yet can make a nuclear bomb and can turn everything into dust. Vishnu is the holder of knowledge of everything required to live, cultivation, housing, construction, reproduction, growth etc and Brahma is the philosopher, thinker, law giver, he mostly sets the rule for things to get rolling. I hope this helps. A simple request, we belong to a great past and I don't only mean a particular country or religion, the whole wide world and the religious scriptures are the only sneak peek we have left with us for the really old forget past. Do not read them in complete devotion and blind faith, read them with open and inquisitive mind and then instead of myth you will be reading history. In their current form they have gone through multiple language change and interpretations. Try not to read them literally but try to get their spirit and find science in them. A.Ravi sekhar
Lord Shiva is the altimate god of all and only god in the universe. This is initial form of god and all wise people bring the way of praying the lord of universe or Vishwanadh or vishweswar. So initially the thought was to praying god in female and male form to teach the importance of both to men and women to form family. you can understand the difference.............if you read below. Lord Shiva is described as Lord of universe and stay in Himalayas on Mount kailash............Lord Shiva was lived on the earth .he saved the mankind once with in herotic way this is history. So many descriptions saying this.He is a Great dancer once lived in.He married got children and have family. He respected the wife and with his heroics he is able to form a group of same mentality.so he has Gana.In their group,Veerabhadra,Nandi or Ideal fighters and he is the lead. They used to save their people for long time.Lord shiva never failed to do it thats why we call him .......No Death for him as a altimate . On otherside.........Lord Vishnu is a Ideal character described just with Imagination. Some selfish wel-knowledged people given more desription to the same personality and gave another name Vishnu. Wise people like SriKrishna,Parasurama or Sankaracharya understand the reality and again they told both are same. The personality was same. Sri Krishna is not god or avathar of Vishnu and was a born in Vishwa Brahmana shaiva family and native local of Indus vally civilized family(thats why in so many descriptions in maha bharatha he was recognized as low caste or culture was dominated with aryan culture). With his quality and knowledge he is able to know the fact and he would like to tell the truth to the world.Thats why he gave Bhagavath-geetha menas the lords Shiva's way.Even you can understand the Somanadh (lord Shiva is their God) and Maha bharatha was and is kernal of Shiva faith.Maha bharatha described Somanadh,Srikandam(sree sailam) Mallikarjuna swamy and Vishwa nadh of Kasi (kashi kandam) and so many other temples of Lord shiva. If you understand Srikrishna never told pray Vishnu or Pray Rama or Pray some other form.He told to Arjuna and all other people to pray lord shiva and he himself payed Shiva as Mahadev. Why he was alled as swayam bhagavan is that he again showed the way to pray Ultimate god( or atleast believe in his words instead of Vishnu, myth as god). Parasurama, all people still in myth as he is avathar of Vishnu. But if you understand his way or his pray towards Lord Shiva, ultimate lord of universe. He never prayed other god.He established so many Lord shiva temples and all are in south india mainl in parasuram kshetram(in keral konkan place, andhra pradesh, tamilandu and Karnataka). Why he never mentioned Vishnu...........the myth. Sankaracharya was the vaishnav brahmin....understanding the fact told Siva and Vishnu both are same and they are two names of same god and he tried to clear the myth like they are two different gods. So I would like to tell the world that makka Kaaba temple is Lord Shiva's temple,Tajmahal is also Lord shiva temple.Venkateshwara swami temple is Lord Shiva temple.(Venkata + Eswar temple mean lord shiva temple, can any one show any of Vishnu temples is having eswar name). So know the real god. Anirban Chatterjee
I agree with bmsuthar. Lord Shiva is considered above the universe, above the perennial cycle of destruction and creation. Besides, don't take mythology literally. Shiva and Visnu are but different manifestations of the same reality. As per a scientific explanation, we can say that Shiva is he all-pervading soul or field of the primordial universe, atop which energy plays its role. As per Nigurananda, a famous Bengali writer, Brahma personifies the neutron-field, Visnu the potential energy of the universe and Shiva the kinetic energy of the universe. Thus, Brahma, Visnu and Shiva are but one and the same. From the Vedic and Vedantic standpoint, the Brahman manifests in the material realm as each of the three forms respectively. RAKESH VARMA
HI, in sastra there is a one mantra.i.e sivasya hrudayam vishnuhu, vishnusya hrudayam sivaha : sivarupaya vishnave vishnurupaya sivaha : so, vishnu and siva both are same ,there is no difference between them
KARTHIYANEE
Hi, Lord Vishnu create Brahma and Brahma create all. So we are the child of Lord Vishnu who is the Supreme God. To reach Supreme God we need to get lesson from a lot of Guru. So Lord Vishnu create a Guru in every yuga. Even Lord Vishnu have born in every yuga to teach and guide the human to get mukti to reach to Lord Vishnu. We have born million times in this earth, in this million times we across a lot of Guru which is Ganapathi, Muruga, Rama, Krishna and lot more. Matha, Pitha, Guru, Theivam. The answer for this is Matha is Ambal, Pitha is Shiva, Guru is can be Krishna,Muruga, Rama and Theivam is Lord Vishnu. In this born our matha is our mother and pitha is our father, who ever love their own mother will bless by the mother of all mother Durga Devi, Pitha is the proctector as our own father. He took a lot of incarnation such as Muneswaran,Hanuman. He is the great devotee of Lord Vishnu. He will guide us to be a great devotee. At the same time we have to get a lesson of from a lot of guru to learn different lesson to guide on our life. Guru will teach us to control our desire and be in devotional way all the time. Who ever never have self realization will reborn again and again in this earth and will go through all. So we have to try to purity ourselves so that we are not born again and reach Mukthi. Listen to MahaVishnu Sahasranamam and read the meaning. Bhagavad Gita is the book for the all answer. Karthiyanee
