Guest Mystic user
Good planets can be grievely affected by bad aspects even though they may be exalted and placed in good houses. So, it often gets complicated to ascertain a planet's net strength and effects. Is high shadbala a good indicator of net strength after accounting all bad aspects? In my case Jupiter is aspected by shani(opposite), ketu(Conjunct) and rahu(opposite), however dues to its exaltation, position and other accounts its shadbala is 540. So is jupiter strong and benefic or bad? In practice I see the good effects of guru in life but I am also very serious and moderately unlucky as Saturn is combust and I am running under shani mahadasha.
