Guest guest
Coconut Grove Parade - Junior Orange Bowl Parade Two Ratha-Yatras in the same week!! Lord Jagannatha gave His mercy in Miami, the ancient Festival of the Chariots, united by the chanting of the Holy Names of God, devotees from Alachua, Gainesville, Tallahassee and other places celebrate Ratha-Yatra in Coconut Grove Parade and Junior Orange Bowl Parade with more than 10,000 people in each festival. We distributed 5,000 bags of Maha-prasadam of Lord Jagannatha. "This Krishna culture," Srila Prabhupada used to say, "has so many festivals. We could have one every day. In the spiritual world, every day is a festival." The Lord of the Universe, Lord Jagannatha is Krsna Himself, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and He has come along for the ride, sitting in the cart. His big round eyes and blissful smile shower benedictions upon everyone. And everybody is happy chanting and dancing with the devotees, very friendly the persons liking the approach of the devotees and Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra. One on December 27 and the other on December 30, very favorable people chanted the Maha-mantra with the devotees and celebrated this wonderful festival. And that is the perfection of life! Srila Prabhupada, who introduced the chanting throughout the world and the Ratha-Yatras Festivals, says "The transcendental vibration established by the chanting of Hare Krishna is the sublime method for reviving our original, pure consciousness. By chanting this transcendental vibration, we can cleanse all misgivings from our hearts and feel ecstasy coming through from the spiritual stratum... This chanting of Hare Krishna is enacted from the spiritual platform, and thus this sound vibration surpasses all lower strata of consciousness." When I was dancing in the festival, those Srila Prabhupada's words were coming to my mind and I become so grateful and indebted to him that I am feeling very ecstatic because of his mercy and I carry out little be what is Krishna Consciousness Movement.
