King of Orissa and Prime Minister to honour Puri Maharaj

Government authorities, including the king of Orissa and the Prime Minister of India, along with eminent personalities will be present to pay respects to Srila Bhakti Promod Puri Maharaj, on the occasion of the celebration of the Vyasa Puja of this senior most vaisnava, (1898-1998), on September 24.

 

The invitation for the function, to be held in Jagannath Puri, suggests that one should come to sat-guru with sacrificial implements in the form of:

 

- submission

- search for truth

- desire to serve

 

This rare vaisnava, a living example of love and humility is decorated profusely with vaisnava qualities, distinct of devotees situated in the platform of pure love of Godhead.
