The EICWS works on the basis of synergy and cooperation with individuals and organizations who have a similar interest in the world's spiritual traditions and in the arts, education, values, and citizenship. The EICWS had representatives at The Millennium Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders, United Nations, New York, 2000, and, at The Global Peace Initiative of Women Religious and Spiritual Leaders, 6-9 October 2002, United Nations, Geneva.
