Senator John McCain visited by Hare Krishna devotees

Tempe, Arizona, Dec. 19

 

The Early Riser Meeting was held at Pryor Adult Recreation Center conducted by City of Tempe Mayor Neil Giuliani. Chief Guest was Arizona Senator John McCain who covered congressional affairs and answered questions from the floor.

The ISKCON Phoenix temple was established in 1996 (http://www.iskconphx.org). There are regular prayer meetings seven days a week and Hindi & Cultural classes are conducted for children aged 6 - 16 on Sundays. For further information: (480) 705 4900 or email: svgd108@. There is another vegetarian restaurant Govinda in Tuscon (about 110 miles southeast on I-10) which completed eleven years recently.
