Today (15-3-03), we celebrated the very blissful festival in Shantipur where the Supreme Lord Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu visited the house of Sri Adwaita Acarya, took prasadam with the devotees, and blessed all those who come and take prasadam at that place with Krsna prema. Every year for the last 12 years, ISKCON has organized a program to feed more than 40.000 pilgrims. The organization and coordination of this program is under Their Holinesses Jayapataka Swami and Kavicandra Swami. Hundreds of devotees went in many buses to the holy site in Shantipur to distribute prasada as well to chant the mahamantra constantly while pilgrims took the nectarean kitchri. They are very fortunate to have this mercy of the Lord in getting meals for the body and meals for the soul through the chanting of the mahamantra. There were many donors for the auspicious event, but we would especially like to thank HG Devalarisi prabhu from New Talavan, USA, for his support and sponsorship of this year's festival. Many senior devotees and sannyasis were present at this event. I would like to mention some of them like Their Holinesses, Bhakti Bhusana Swami, Sacinandana Swami, Bhakti Vikas Swami, Bhakti Vrajendranandana Swami, Bhaktisiddhanta Swami, Subhag Swami, Mahavishnu Swami, Bhakti Vishrambha Madhava Swami, Kratu Prabhu, and Satyanarayan Prabhu. The host was His Grace Prasant Goswami a descendant of the 14th generation from His Lordship Sri Adwaita Acarya.
