bhaktachris
Hare Krsna Lianne, The best way in my 'opinion' to find out information on the facts understood by devotees of the Krsna consciousness movement.Would be to read the 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita As It Is (along with purports)specifically a "Gita" published by Macmillon (this one was used, read and called bonafide by the Author)i can send you one easily (since i work in the U.S.post office) email me at chriscolm@hotmail.com.This Bhagavad Gita is the whole philosiphy spoken my Krsna 5000 years ago (anthropology student Lianne find out more)and then delivered to us in english (and other languages). The Krsna consciousness movement was founded on the ancient wisdom in the Bhagavad Gita brought to us by the Founder, Acharya (or special Guru) A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami, effectionately known as "Prabhupada". He gave us the Gita "As It Is"(or exactly as Krsna spoke it) and under His guidance the movement went on. Accept for some "time and circumstance" instructions Prabhupada gave, the movement has the same "beliefs" that have been followed since time immemorial. I have made sure that all public community libraries within a 50 mile limit have This book (and some further)since it is the greatest knowledge to gain on This planet i am sure!
