Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada VIHE is happy to invite you to Vrindavan to study Srimad-Bhagavatam in the holy dhama in the association of other devotees. *** Bhakti Vaibhava course *** Study of the first six Canto of the Srimad-Bhagavatam Dates: November 24 to March 30 (1&2 Cantos) You can study the 3rd Canto by Correspondence and join the VIHE for the 4th Canto and on, taught by Bhurijan Prabhu and Narayani Mataji. Requirements: Good sadhana, brahminical tendencies, Bhakti Sastri diploma (or its equivalent in special cases) and a proficiency in English. You also must have a recommendation from a senior devotee who knows you well. Fees: 10,000 Rupees (appr. $220) to help cover the expenses connected with conducting the course. This does not include room, prasadam, some study materials and Kartik courses. To apply: Prospective students are required to register and must be approved by the VIHE administration. Registration deadline is October 20 for the next first year. "Listener" category is available, for which the fee is Rs.4,000 and Bhakti Sastri diploma is not required. *** Classes are held 5 days a week. Men and women have their classes together. *** The VIHE in Vrindavan was established to fulfill Srila Prabhupada's desire for an educational institute in Vrindavan. Thus, the Krishna conscious culture and values that Srila Prabhupada gave us can be passed on to successive generations.
