Emmanuel
Haribol... All glories to all the devotees walking the surface of this earth planet during this most unfortunate/fortunate age of Kali. My question is as such. I am in a very complicated finanacial situation that has to change for the better in order for me to become better able to render devotional service. Is there any devotee out there who knows of a "WORKING" method of aquiring Laskmi?
karmic_devotee
Hare Krishna, Financial freedom is a pre-requisite for a grhastha devotee (probably even for a non-grhastha devotee) to properly engage in spiritual activity. There are no guarantees of success in money-making ventures, but here are a few ideas which you can implement: 1. Sell stuff on Ebay. 2. Cook and sell prasadam as 'tiffin' for office-going people. 3. Start or engage in a day-care. 4. Utilize technical or mechanical skills that you may possess (eg., carpenter work or plumbing or web-site design). 5. Invest a bit of money in stock markets. 6. Manual labor. Do note that choosing a line of work depends on your skill, ability to invest resources (time, money etc.) and ability to accept risk. I hope this helps, Prodi. Guest guest
HARIBOL!!! That's the best answer to your question - render devotional service by chanting. To attain Laksmi and attain what you desire, purchase the book Gayatri: the highest meditation by Sadguru Sant Keshavadas. It's too complicated to explain here but I assure you this book contains what you are looking for. If you don't wish to do the ritual yourself, go to any Hindu temple and ask for a yajna ceremony for your purpose. But be warned, this is not the appropriate activity of a Vaishnava. Again I say, chant! chant! chant! Until the cows come mooing at your door...

Guest guest
We all need money. Actually Krishna give us exactly what we need. However, sometimes He'll give us not enough money so we don't use it to entangle in illicit activities. It's better to live a simple life with high consciousness than a rich life with bad habits. Hare Krishna.
