Guest guest
Haribol, Could somebody with great knowledge of Vedas answer the following? Danavas and Daityas are Atheists right? Hence, they don't believe in God. Yet they use Brahmins to carry out sacrifices in Mahabharata - do they just believe that God is not all-powerful or do they not believe in God at all? Also, Duryodhana and Karna are supposed to be 'incarnations' of Daityas - how is it possible for them to incarnate themselves - I thought that was only possible for the demigods and Krishna. Guest guest
The Danavas and Dityas are generally as powerful as Demigods... only they do no surrender to the Supreme personality of Godhead Krishna or Vishnu. Also they sometimes observe the Vedic ceremonies to gain powers and enjoy sense gratification.
Guest guest
Yes the danavas and daityas to my ability to percipe are exatly as the above explanation. Do we need a clearer difinition regarding the atheistic term difinitions? Or its seem very clear I mean they are against or rebel to The Lord Krishna or Narayana only? Guest guest
SO THEY BELIEVE IN GOD, JUST DON'T WANT TO SURRENDER OR EVEN RESPECT HIM? Aren't we all atheists then (before coming into Krishna Consciousness, of course)? (We desired to rebel against Krsna by competing with Him wanting to lord it over material nature etc)
Guest guest
Actually before coming to KC most people are neither Theists nor Atheists. They are not ataheist because most poeple in a sober state accept there is some higher autjority. Yet they behave in such a way that they don't actually believe in God... they do whatever is pleasing for the senses. So they are no theists in that sense.
