AS FAR AS I KNOW, VISHNU IS EXPANSION OF KRISHNA - BUT VISHNU IS SO CLOSELY ASSOCIATED TO KRISHNA, THAT THEY HAVE IDENTICAL WILL - HENCE IT IS ACCEPTABLE TO WORSHIP VISHNU AS KRISHNA - (VAISHNAVA = DEVOTEE OF VISHNU) INTERESTING THOUGH THAT SOME VEDAS SAY KRISHNA IS SUPREME, OTHER PASSAGES SAY VISHNU IS SUPREME, AND THE MAHABHARATA SAYS LORD HARI IS SUPREME...I GUESS THEY ARE ALL THE SAME - KRISHNA...
