Guest guest
Ok, its hard to judge why we have a disease, except that we probably have bad karma built up form previous life, but: if u start to really love Krishna - ok not pure love yet - why does Krishna not reciprocate by ridding one of disease, after all no disease = better health = better able to serve Krishna... ok, so maybe Krishna doesn't rid disease because he thinks that we will stop KC if that particular diseased person was cured - maybe he would no longer care for God? Or does Krishna keep disease going even with an aspiring devotee to test him? Or does he maintain disease so that we burn off all the Karma from previous lives? - (but isn't that what the chanting and krtan, and devotional service does?) Guest guest
yes dis-ease is karmic, yes it is purificatory - as is chanting and service - dis-ease increases difficulty for practicing good sadhana, as a result we rise higher because our effort is greater, therefore our purification is greater because we must overcome greater obstacles, all the bad things in your life are in fact the blessings in your life, otherwise you wouldn't do anything, you wouldn't strive, it shoots us quicker and faster to the heart of Bhagavan if we strive for a better quality sadhana everyday
