'Twas a time when we were full of bliss and knowledge, when we purely loved Krishna the source of all that be.

 

'Twas a time when we were situated in our eternal spiritual bodies that were not subject to birth, death, old age and disease.

 

'Twas a time when our hearts were drinking deep the nectar of serving Krishna in unimaginable ecstasy.

 

But then things went sour. We threw away that most precious

of all gems, love for that beautiful Lord Shyamasundar.

 

We thought we would try to make it on our own.

So now we're very far away from home

And we aimlessly roam, destination unknown.

 

The greatest sage known as Prabhupada

Has given the key to reawaken our eternal identity.

If we take it and place it into the door, in no time we shall be free.
