Guest guest
are they like hare krishna's? .hare krishnas are members of sri gaudya vaishnava sampradaya, who belongs to the eternal vaishnava family do they worship the same god? .god is one... all vaishnavas consider krsna/vishnu the supreme personality of godhead and what if you chant hare vishnu? ..in itself hare and vishnu are two names of krsna/vishnu, so they are transcendental. But in the spiritual reality Hare, who is Srimati Radharani, or the personification of love for god, has a strict supreme and eternal relationship with krishna bhagavan in his aspect of a young boy in vrindaban, and not with his aspect as a powerful king and ruler in vaikunta as sri vishnu. Another aspect is that we have no advice by the spiritual masters to chant like that. So, being not authorized by them, there's surely the possibility to make some advancement, but also for the most negative propension to take srimati radhika away from sri krsna, we cannot reach the ultimate goal of going back to godhead chanting this strange mantra isnt vishnu krishna? ..yes.. so chant hare krishna and in this way you will chant also the vishnu's name.. where's the problem? where's the use of playing with religion, prayers, lord , devotees? Guest guest
i have already said that vaishnava is a tree with many branches and hare krishna is a vaishnava denomination so gaudya vaishnava (=hare krishna) temples are vaishnava temples other vaishnava but not gaudya temples are jagannath temple in orissa, balaji in tirupati, rangaji and banke bihari in vrindavan and many others maybe we can say that in india, in percentage, gaudya temples are very few but there's a huge number of krsna/vishnu temples of other vaishnava families in the rest of the world the situation is the opposite --- it is very difficult to make comparisons, the temples and worships are very similar for all vaishnavas... in the gaudya's ones the biggest emphasis is in the congregational chanting of hare krishna mahamantra and in worshiping the murti of radha krsna of course in gaudya temples there's also worship of sri vishnu, narasimha, ramachandra and even shiva and so on... but, i repeat, the main place is "technically" for radha krsna, krsna balaram and nitai gauranga deities
