Guest guest
Dearest Friends and Yogis, When we know that we are Atma and we are free from bondages, why should we chant mantra and other things to attain salvation. The question is, is mantra meant only for worldly people or even yogis used to meditate on it? Who created whom? God created man or man created God? Now iam totally confused. Only who get to the question interiorly pls answer me. These doubts are not coming by my ego, but iam having this doubt for long time. pls dont mistake if i have hurt u guys with this question. sumedh
Hare Krishna please accept my dandavat pranam "When we know that we are Atma and we are free from bondages, why should we chant mantra and other things to attain salvation" Not very clear about the question but here's the opinion of vaishnava sampradayas. This question only arises for those who consider salvation as the end. But those who have taken the path of Bhakti-yoga know that Bhakti is both the means and the end, whereas salvation as in sayujya mukti (merging into the Brahman) is considered a spiritual dead end (or spiritual death). The material world being a perverted reflection of the spiritual realm, the spiritual activities are described as eternal. Thus Bhakti is the eternal nature of a jiva and is what is meant by "svarupa siddhi" i.e. true nature of jiva which has become covered due to innumerable lives in the material world. Chanting is the same as associating with Krishna/Narayana personally, but in the neophyte stages one cannot recognize this fact; coming to the point of realizing this fact is the perfection of chanting when pure love of Godhead manifests. The following appears in Brahma-Samhita 5.1 "isvarah paramah krishna sac-cid-ananda vigrahah anadir adir govindah sarva karana karanam" Krishna who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes.
Guest guest
the soul is free from bondages in unconditioned state that means when it is in natural love of godhead.but in conditioned state we under illusion(maya) think that we are free,we suffer for our bad deeds and enjoy for our good deeds, but all this remain for some time only again we are in same state.we may get different bodies(species) according to our karma but the soul is same,it is always trying for permanent happiness but body under the modes of nature will prevent it .by the consoiusness in human life we can understand upto some extent that it is not a permanent place to live here,so where should this soul has to go,where it has come from, what it is doing present, when we put this questions to self,a realisation comes called as self realisation.adopting it on supreme consoiusness a medium should be present ,it is hare krishna maha mantra HARE KRSNA HARE KRSNA KRSNA KRSNA HARE HARE HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE by chanting this mantra a consiusness which we dont experienced before is felt.it makes nearer to lord and at last by practicing it life long we will get ecstacy of love for god head and reach his abode eternally. the place we live is temporary,so use your intelligence whether u want to suffer birth, disease, death or eternal happiness.chant hare krsna maha mantra 16 rounds a day, your inner self only teaches you what to do,how to be in god consiousness.....................hare krsna....visu
