Guest guest
Would the President of the US, the most powerful man on Earth allow himself to be tormented and crucified? Would he allow his son/daughter to be tormented and crucified? The simple answer is NO NO. Thus what makes you think God, the most powerful living being allow himself or his only son to be tormented and crucified? An ordinary man can be tormented and crucified, the powerful cannot be. The most powerful person, the supreme being, God, can certainly not be tormented or crucified.
Guest guest
Thats the most stupid thing I have ever heard. It just proves you have NO IDEA about this subject matter whatsoever. In future it would be a good idea to do some research into it and have some idea of this very deep subject matter before making rediculous statements. Firstly Jesus whas not God he was an empowered representative or "son" of God. Otherwise know as a shaki avesha avatar (forgive my bad spelling). First of all your examples are simply not true. There are many examples in the past of kings and rulers being the first to go into battle and risk there lives too benefit the population. In other words accept suffering for the benefit of others. Lord Shiva drank and ocean of poison in order to help the demigods. Vasudeva data begged Lord Chaitania that he could take on the sins of the entire universe and suffer for them, and let them all go back to the spiritual world. This is an example of a vaisnava , one who cannot tolerate the suffering of others, and is willing to accept suffering himself in order to help elieviate the suffering of others. This behaviour is backed up by sastra and there are many examples of this. Jesus showed his greatness by accepting so much pain in order to take the sins of the people and help them. Thats shows his greatness and compassion. Jesus did not need to come here, he did not "fall" from the spiritual world like us, he wanted to come and help us. Thats what makes him special. And yes God did allow him to come here and suffer to help us. So what is your point. Jesus definately existed, he definately suffered the crucifiction. And he was the son of God. Simple as that.
