krishnadas108
Hare Krishna Prabhus and Matajis!!! PAMHO I am a neophyte devottee in KC for past 4 years. I am losing my interest in chanting and not chanting in many occasions due to laziness and lack of interest in chanting. I can really understand that what I am doing is not right as I have associated and associating with devottees and attending temple programs and believe completely in this mission. However my taste or interest of chanting is not improving and also I am very recently got stuck with bad association due to my hectic travelling schedule and got into masturbation and seeing blue films. I have lot of confidence on Lord Krishna, Srila Prabhupad and Vaishnava devottees. There are so many great vaishnavas living in this planet nad need your mercy to become strong in KC and act in more motivation. By nature I am very lazy and that is the biggest problem. Please help me.. Your Servant Krishna Das
Guest guest
Gopinatha (part 1) (from Kalyana-kalpataru) by Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur 1. gopinath, mama nivedana suno visayi durjana, sada kama-rata, kichu nahi mora guna 1. 0 Gopinatha, Lord of the gopis, please hear my request. I am a wicked materialist, always addicted to worldly desires, and no good qualities do I possess. 2. gopinath, amara bharasa tumi tomara carane, loinu sarana, tomara kinkora ami 2. 0 Gopinatha, You are my only hope, and therefore I have taken shelter at Your lotus feet. I am now Your eternal servant. 3. gopinath, kemone sodhibe more na jani bhakati, karme jada-mati, porechi somsara-ghore 3. 0 Gopinatha, how will You purify me? I do not know what devotion is, and my materialistic mind is absorbed in fruitive work. I have fallen into this dark and perilous worldly existence. 4. gopinath, sakali tomara maya nahi mama bala, jnana sunirmala, swadina nahe e kaya 4. 0 Gopinatha, everything here is Your illusory energy. Please give him Your mercy. 6. gopinath, tumi to' sakali paro durjane tarite, tomara sakati, ke ache papira aro 6. 0 Gopinatha, You are able to do anything, and therefore You have the power to deliver all sinners. Who is there that is more of a sinner than myself? 7. gopinath, tumi krpa-parabara jivera karane, asiya prapance, lila koile subistara 7. 0 Gopinatha, You are the ocean of mercy. Guest guest
the advice to pray krsna for a guru is essential, there's no possibility to go back to godhead without guru... another thing to say is that you have to try to associate with devotees the more you can.. most important could be to have some devotee friends with similar advancement and interests to live some life together.. even in a little gratification like going to cinema, teather, concerts, holidays, some walk, sports and so on.... in this way one can be satisfaced and simultaneously, between two devotees, it is obvious that krsna would be the main conversation's object

Guest guest
pray to narasimha to give you protection from the material world and the 3 bad qualities, kama krodha lobha. also, this wednesday is akhda trij which is the day of new beginnings. it is also the day candana yatra starts. i also advise you to pray to gaura nitai to give you mercy and whenever evil thoughts come to your mind remember they are illusory and root them from you mind with krsnas name on you lips. i am to neophyte however i do not experience bordem with Kc. It bliss at every step. however, i think this is due to my regualr sahdana every day. i perfom gaura aarti and offer prasadam/flowers every day to their lordships sri sri radha krsna/ gaura nitai (pic forms) begging them to make me loyal to them. So practice regulary and read! please forgive my ignorance if anything is wrong for i am only a beginner too. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
jagatpurush
Prabhuji, you should try to associate with devotees as much as possible. that makes KC relishable. in my own life, i feel that the trick is, to do KC in a way that makes it more attractive to me than material activities. we like to go the temple, sing in the kirtan, take prasad, and talk with the devotees. so if we become attached to these things it is good and we will start to enjoy practicing KC.
