sumedh
Hare Krishna please accept my dandavat pranam What do Srila and Sri mean please ? The normal meaning of Sri is the Goddess of fortune, Lakshmi the internal potency of the Lord. So the other meanings are opulence, fortune, beauty, divine, etc. which are the attributes of the Supreme Goddess. Srila also means fortune, divine etc.(these are pronounced as shriila and shrii respy.) i do not know of the exact meaning of the suffix "la" as my knowledge of sanskrit is very limited. Also how should one pronounce Prabupada ? It is Prabhupada to be pronounced as: pra-bhu-paa-da(the da is pronounced with clipped a and more similiar to "the" not like in "pod")
