Guest guest
Due to an unfortunate incident my tulasi beads got broken. The river near to my house is very dirty, and I cannot burn them. Should I bury them? or find a clean place in the river to throw them? /images/graemlins/frown.gif Hare Krsna!

Guest guest
Haribol, The safest way is to put them in a pot that holds the tulsi plant. Other option is to float them in the sea. That prevents desecration. Infact dieties of clay, wood etc and pictures are thus floated into the sea incase there is any damage to them. Hope that helps. Guest guest
do you mean put them into the sea? I do have a lake near to where live but no sea. Also i cannot use a replacments as the beads themselves have craked in half and come off the string.
Guest guest
Haribol, Yeah you can put them in the lake too. Sorry I couldnt find a better word than float. Didnt want to use the word "throw". By the way, remember to pay your respects to the japa beads before you do that. The idea in putting them in a place like sea or lake is to prevent desecration. Hope that helps. Hare Krishna.
