Guest guest Posted April 23, 2005 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 ram ram, why to chant hare krishna mantra? wasnt shri valmiki rishi was chanting ram ram maha mantra?? wasnt he got divine abode?.........i am talking about when someone has got the mantra from a bonafied authority, so why dont we let the people to chant such mantra? Guest guest Posted April 23, 2005 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 ram ram, i would say the name is not important but the feeling or your BHAVA is important, even shri valmiki rishi was chanting MARA MARA mantra but his BHAVA was divine so he got rama. it is not like you must chant this or that mantra but you should have faith on it then only it matters. ram. Guest guest Posted April 23, 2005 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 wrong and wrong, the names of Sri Krishna are non different from Krishna Himself, thus whether you feel believe it while chanting them is irrelevant. The name is all important as is stressed by the many bonafide acarya's. The only way is to chant the names of God, the name is everything.
