Guest guest
Hare Krishna! All glories to Srila Prabhupada! I offer my humble obeisances unto him! I was wondering about 2 things 1. Does whey contain components of animal fat or is it pure vegetarian or are there are different varities of whey which has or has no animal fat? 2. What is Kosher Gluten? Is it vegetarian? Thanks! Haribol! anand
Guest guest
Don't know about the gluten but I think it's safe to say that all whey in massmarket consumer products is produced using the intestines of calves as it's the cheapest way(This process horrifies and disgusts me to no end). When we make our own cheese by adding yoghurt ,citric acid or lemon juice to the boiling milk we also get whey, that whey is obviously okay. So when will you know when a product uses proper whey when all it says is i.e.: "wheypowder"? You won't know so the best thing is to play it safe and avoid all products containing whey. alabama2010
I haven’t heard news and even wiki about Kosher Gluten. But what I do know gluten and kosher are both belongs to foods for special dietary needs.
