Guest guest
Haribol, Please excuse me as I am only a ignorant neophyte and could do with a little advice: I have grown a few Tulsi plants from seed and have been offering a leaf (washed 3 times) to a picture of Lord Krishna on a daily basis (along with a flower, some water and a little fruit) I have been going to a temple occasionally over the last few months, and was told it was best to only offer the leaves in food preparations, not just on their own. Is this correct ? AGSTP Many thanks for any responses.
Guest guest
Hare Krishna. If you could offer the tulsi leaves with water that is best. But you can also offer tulsi leaves alone, as stated in the Bhagavad-gita. Lord Krishna states, offer me a leaf, flower, water etc.. You should offer your food too. Guest guest
Hare Krishna Thanks for the advice. Yes I either offer any food I eat first, or if I do not think it quite good enough to acutally offer to the Lord to eat, I just ask Lord Krishna to bless it to remove any karma from it and chant HareKrishna 3 times. I hope thats ok. Haribol
