Guest guest
on vedabase.net, and was able to cross reference prayaniya, etc. from other verses-- as well as online Sanskrit Dictionary. so, prayaniya means the beginning of a sacrifice. udayaniya is the last rites of a sacrifice. savana means the 3 phases of time. the 7 hands are the 7 poetic meters. He is the enjoyer (Purusa) of the trayi, or three, types of Vedic rituals--karma, jnana, and upasana khandas. thanks. hope this helps. if i have made any mistake, plz forgive me. Guest guest
the entire phrase savana-traya, and not the word 'savana', refers to the three phrases of time. i meant to fix but was not logged in.
