I read in S.B. 8/16/31 that Krsna has two heads(prayaniya,

udayaniya)

3 legs(savana-traya) and so on ...

who can explain this to me because there no explaination in the purport.

on vedabase.net, and was able to cross reference prayaniya, etc. from other verses-- as well as online Sanskrit Dictionary.

 

so, prayaniya means the beginning of a sacrifice.

 

udayaniya is the last rites of a sacrifice.

 

savana means the 3 phases of time.

 

the 7 hands are the 7 poetic meters.

 

He is the enjoyer (Purusa) of the trayi, or three, types of Vedic rituals--karma, jnana, and upasana khandas.
