Guest guest
Greetings, I know virtually nothing about the hare krishna's but would like to learn more. Most of all, I would like to get an understanding of the holy places, where the religion began and where devotees visit, so I can perhaps do the same. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! Guest guest
Visit www.Gitamrta.org, the most comprehensive site on krishna consciousness and Vedic teachings, explained in a simple way. Also www.iskcon.com, the main hare krishna site.

Guest guest
There are three main places that vaisnavas visit: 1. Vrindaban - This is where Krishna appeared 5000 years ago and performed his pastimes. This place is supreme and a direct manifestation of the spiritual world. 2. Sridham Mayapur - This is where Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared some 500 years ago and is non-different from Vrindaban. Mayapur is the birth place of the Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition. 3. Jaganath Puri - The home of the famous Jaganath Mandir and also the home of Caitanya for many years. Many wondorous pastimes of Caitanya and his associates have taken place here. Like I said, these are the main places of the Vaisnavas but there are many others such as Dwarka, Rishikesh, Ayodhya.. too many to mention actually. Please purchase a copy of 'Bhagavad Gita As It' Is by His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada, & 'Krsna, The Supreme Personality of Godhead' by the same author. You will not regret it! Thankyou for your interest, Hare Krishna.
