I have this question for a very long time in my mind and I am still waiting to get an answer for it.

 

The question is:

 

Like Christians have Bible and Muslims have Quaran what do we Hindus have.

 

I want a clear-cut answer. I hope I will get an answer for my question.

The answer is: That and so much more. Reading is one thing, realizing quite another. The goal remains self-realization, not book-realization!

I think the closest would be the Bhagavad Gita. But still, its not exactly to Hindus what the Bible is to Christians, or the Koran is to Muslims.

There is no such one_single_authoritative scripture for the Hindus. That is the clear cut answer.

 

Different groups of Hindus have different scriptures as authority.
