Sephiroth
1. many of the relaly really REALLY old sites are under ground upon which sits sites already. Some of the sites are abandoned for ages and not been built on top of anything else. We start with those first. 2. finding adecuate space to do a meaningful historical dig is hard. Nonsense ... there are many historical sites in Deccan region which usually covered with jungle or deserts. ONLY sites which close to modern-day cities like Delhi, Goa etc is place where people over-crowded. India is one of the oldest civilizations on the Planet, ever pre-dating Egyptian Dynasties (which started about 4,500 B.C or so). According History, people already moved to India around 200,000 years ago (after migrating from Africa 250,000 years ago and settled in Mesotapmia Region). BUT due to lack of keeping records (like in China), a lot of historical facts are lost. IF Hindus were to save guard their beliefs, they must have proper historical records.
