Upon creation, after the manifestation of Siva and Brahma (who both originate from Swayam Bhagwan Visnu) then from his left arm Laksmi manifests. She is the constant companion of Visnu. If you just worship Laxmi ji, she gives you all the wealth, houses, cars and such but no peace. If you just worship Krsna then Laxmi Automaticaly comes. I think it is a great wealthy day when I have a nice plate of prasadam but I feel very poor when my crappy car breaks down and I have to ask my friends for mercy money to fix it. Guest guest Posted September 29, 2003 Report Share Posted September 29, 2003 Gaudiyas seem to incorrect destinate Sri (Laksmi) like the rest of the Hindus, as "The Goddess of Fortune/Wealth" This is incorrect, according to Sri Vaisnavism siddhanta (Laksmi - Head of their sampradaya), Sri is the manifestation of the Lord's Grace, and She is not the Goddes of Fortune etc. Sri is the mediatrix between God and the jivas.
