in hinduism there's basically theists and monists.. but not nichilists as the buddists.. that's the huge difference

And some person......has mentioned that the geeta says last avatar will be Kalki....it is a puranic mythological tale....nowhere in the Geeta or in any of srutis(i.e. vedas, upanishads, geeta) is it mentioned that kalki would be the last avatar

 

In the Vedas, it is said that He will come to change, protect or at least destroy the world and make it anew. He did so as Parasurama, Sri Rama and Sri Krishna (and other Avatars before).

 

So, by stating a person is Avatar, YET that person had done nothing to change the society, muchless the world other than to talk, is clear proof that he is not what he had claimed.

 

A lot of people had came, proclaim he is this and that ... both in Hindusm, Christianity and Islam itself. They are called False Prophets/Messangers/Avatars.

 

In Gita, it is said that He will come and make the world new again. We didn't ask Him, He promised it Himself, therefore, we should wait and see if He keeps that promise or not, instead of believing people who comes and claim they are this and that.

 

How could we know if it is Him or not? We will know ... the Faithful will always know because Seat of God lies in your Heart. Just as you know your Love is near, you will know, when time comes, He is here. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

HE has also said HE will appear when ever religion is in decline and adharma is supreme. And most of us cannot deny that religion is declining and adharma is supreme now.

 

And furthermore none of this generation or the next would see Kalki coz that Avatar would only appear at the end of Kali which is some few houdred thousand years to go. Righteous men are seeking God now not some few hundred thousand years later. Being blind inside even if HE is walking along you, you would not reconize HIM because you're doubtful Thomas.
