Guest guest Posted February 17, 2004 Report Share Posted February 17, 2004 There is a pastime where Hanuman saw Mother Sita applying sindhur and asked why she did so...she replied that she did so 'cos it pleased Lord Rama. So Hanuman ran off and found lots of sindhoor and covered himself completely in it to also please Lord Ram.
