Guest guest
Barney : A humble Guru would not use malicous words against others. Gaura dasa : Prabhupada said that humility means to be bold for Krsna, so Prabhupada is one of the rare persons who will speak out about some foolish mystic yogi who claims to be God, and the equally foolish people who agree with him. That is the duty of the bona-fide spiriutal master. His guru Sril Bhaktissidhanta, would strike fear in the hearts of the Sankaracarya Mayavadis for polluting people with their illusion that we are all God, and that the goal is to merge with the Impersonal Brahman.Bhaktivinode Thakura, his father, as chief magistrate, even threw one bhogi yogi into jail for making such claims in Orissa a century ago,and dancing with other men's wives in "Rasa LIla", even though the envious yogi cursed his family to die, Bhaktivinode told his fearful wife, "It is better to die than to allow such madmen to misguide the poor ignorant masses of people". Barney : His duty is to show the right path and advice, not call people by names such as rascals and fools. Gaura dasa: He is showing it, in both a positive way in his books, and by pointing out who the frauds are, but you dont want to see it, so go on sentimentally worshiping the fools and rascals. Barney : He did not display the role of a Guru. A humble Guru would be like Swami Ramakrishna, Gaura dasa : A guru is Lord Krsna's representative. He teaches everyone to become a servant of Lord Krsna, and that is ONLY what Prabhupada does. In my articles like "Bhogi yogi Vivekananda" , I have pointed out the madness of Ramakrishna who claimed to have been Caitanya Mahaprabhu in a previous life, and similarly the madness spoken by Sai Baba claiming to be an incarnation of Lord Krsna, Rama, etc.....What will a goat not eat , or a madman not speak ? Barney : Saint Ramalingam, Swami Ragavendra and many others before them. Anyway, the crux of the matter here is we as human being has no right to pass judgment against others. It's God who would decide who is a true baktha and who is a pretender. Gaura dasa : As Prabhupada would say, I am not saying, Lord Krsna in the Bhagavad gita is saying. God, Krsna has already condemned these imposters like Ramakrishna and Sai Baba . Of course, they can always be redeemed if they take Krsna prasada and hear the chanting of the Holy Names of Krsna from His pure devotee. By the mercy of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, there is hope for us all !

barney
Gaura dasa : Prabhupada said that humility means to be bold for Krsna, so Prabhupada is one of the rare persons who will speak out about some foolish mystic yogi who claims to be God, and the equally foolish people who agree with him. Barney: Prabhupada is not a bona-fide spritual master to Hindus. He started a movement and established a center and called it ISKON. Appointing himself[self made gurur]as a spritual master. Whatever line he came from does not matter, but he if he not accepted by the land where the vedas were born than he cannot be accredited by Hindu markam as an official guru otherwise he is still a self apointed guru. So, to be he is no more than person doing the service of spreding the word of Gita to the westeren world. Gaura dasa: He is showing it, in both a positive way in his books, and by pointing out who the frauds are, but you dont want to see it, so go on sentimentally worshiping the fools and rascals. Barney: Worshiping anyone is my right and he has no business to tell me. To prove one a fraud you have to charge him in the court of law and not making your own assumption. No couts in India had done that to Sri Satya Sai Baba but in US ISKON has been taken to court for fraud and other charges as child molestation. What do you say about that and I wonder what Prabhupada would do if he is alive today about this charges. Gaura dasa : A guru is Lord Krsna's representative. Barney: Each and every one is God's representative in this world if you speak the word of God. Each and everyone is a servant of God and Prabhupada has spoken nothing new but what has been folowed for ages. Tell me something new. Madness may be to you and your guru but not to me or the millions who believe in them. You and your guru are nothing but arrogant fanatics of a cult using Krishna as the base. In Hinduism it is clearly stated one can ataing godhead through self realization and to quote a few here: Distrust of Intellect "The wise who knows the Self as bodiless within the bodies, as unchanging among changing things, as great and omnipresent, does never grieve". "That self cannot be gained by the Veda, nor by understanding, nor by much learning. He whom the Self chooses, by him the Self can be gained. The Self chooses him (his body) as his own". But he who has not first turned away from his wickedness, who is not tranquil, and subdued, or whose mind is not at rest, he can never obtain the Self (even) by knowledge". Katha Upanishad 1.2.22-24 Purity of Heart: "Whenever the wavering and unsteadfast heart wanders away, then so often let him subdue it and bring it back to the control of the soul; For supreme happiness comes to the Yogin whose heart is at rest, in whom passion is tranquilised, who is one with Brahma, and free from sin. The Yogin thus uniting his soul (to Brahma), who has ceased from sin, enjoys easily the boundless happiness of union (lit. contact) with Brahma". Bhagavad Gita 6:26-29 Humility "He who hates no single being, is friendly and compassionate, free from self-regard and vanity, the same in good and evil, patient; Contented, ever devout, subdued in soul, firm in purpose, fixed on Me in heart and mind, and who worships Me, is dear to Me". Bhagavad Gita 12:13-14 Communion with God "Devout men (Yogins) who are intent (thereon) see this (spirit) seated in themselves; but the senseless, whose minds are unformed, see it not". Bhagavad Gita15:11? Gaura dasa : As Prabhupada would say, I am not saying, Lord Krsna in the Bhagavad gita is saying. God, Krsna has already condemned these imposters like Ramakrishna and Sai Baba . Of course, they can always be redeemed if they take Krsna prasada and hear the chanting of the Holy Names of Krsna from His pure devotee. By the mercy of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, there is hope for us all ! Barney: It is you and your guru's condemnation not Krishna. Because in Gita he has said it very clearly that religion declines he would take birth from age to age. So, who knows he may be he is here now and in the form of Baba or any other spritual master, but what is your authority to say other wise? I think you are intoxicated with Prabhupada's hypnosis and I feel sorry for you.
Guest guest
Appointing himself[self made gurur]as a spritual master. Whatever line he came from does not matter ..if you do not care for the line.. you cannot establish if one is self appointed So, to be he is no more than person doing the service of spreding the word of Gita to the westeren world. ..as i ahve already said.. you cannot spread the gita if you are not a real guru To prove one a fraud you have to charge him in the court of law ..we are speaking of spirituality.. spiritual cheating is not punished by laws, but in a forum like this, speaking of spirituality, we can judge but in US ISKON has been taken to court for fraud and other charges as child molestation ..not iskcon.. the guilties of these molestations. No sai baba disciple or sympathizer goes to prison? Each and everyone is a servant of God and Prabhupada has spoken nothing new but what has been folowed for ages ..so why are you criticizing? are you against vedic tradition? Humility "He who hates no single being, is friendly and compassionate, free from self-regard and vanity, the same in good and evil, patient; Contented, ever devout, subdued in soul, firm in purpose, fixed on Me in heart and mind, and who worships Me, is dear to Me". Bhagavad Gita 12:13-14 ..so why are you hating saints and appreciating rascals like sai baba? and why sai baba hates others telling the lie that he's god? It is you and your guru's condemnation not Krishna ..krsna says "surrender to me.." not to sai baba Because in Gita he has said it very clearly that religion declines he would take birth from age to age ..is this enough to state that every rascal who says that he's god.. he's really god? who knows he may be he is here now and in the form of Baba .."may be" it is not enough.. if you go to a doctor you are not satisfied by the fact that he "may be" a doctor. Think that spiritual realization is much more important, if you go to a cheater doctor, you can lose a life.. if you worship a cheater false god, you can lose million of lifes I think you are intoxicated with Prabhupada's hypnosis and I feel sorry for you. ..one who believes that rascal sai baba can be god speaks of being intoxicated by a master? really?
