Guest guest
Re: Bob Dylan. Once, Srila Prabhupada praised the fact that Bob Dylan was well aware of the problems of the material world, and depicted the pitfalls very well. He went on by saying that knowing the problems was only to make us more hard hearted, that ANSWERS werre needed. Later on, Mr. Dylan became a devotee of sorts, associated with Brother George and Tom Petty and other devotees who liked to chant. Dylans "Christian based" records are quite compelling for devotees, I really appreciated "Slow Train Coming" and the album following that one. Dylan aqlso associated with some devotees, and gave donations for tutoring in the Bhagavad Gita. But like George, he was wary of the intent of some devotees who were too aggressive, so maintains aloofness, much like Chrissie Hynde, Petty, the late Roy Orbison, and others who live in cages of material fame.
