Guest guest
I was told there are four sacred flowers in Buddhism (I suppose this was inherated from Hinduism). I know three of them: Lotus, Water Lily and Jasmin. Whats the fourth? And why these four? Thanks, Marco

Guest guest
The fourth flower I am looking for, is used in the architecture of Buddhist Temples. More precise: it is used at the top of wooden columns, in an inclined, pendent position (pointing down, so when you look up to the top of the column, you look into the heart of the flower). This was in the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, Sri Lanka, as well as in the remains of the historical royal palace there.
