maadhav Posted September 14, 2004 Report Share Posted September 14, 2004 our vedic scripture use eh word aarya. e.g. krishna hsays in gita: anaaryam asvargyam akirtim karm arjuna. we need to take the meaning of the word as is given in our scriptures, and not as given by the 19th centurey brits 'indologists' who want us to (mis)understand it to serve their political mean motive - to cause a divide among us, the hindus or aryans. again, aryan is not a race.
