This is a divinely Siddhi and it appears to be quite scientific too. After all it is applicable to reason that all the planets in the solar family and living beings have evolved from the Sun only. Therefore it is understandable that the Sun contains all the elements and energies needed for man's subsistance and also for his higher developments.It only emphasises the importance of Gayathri Manthra for humanity. I feel that apart from eradication of hunger the Sun has the secrets of all the other Siddhis as well. It needs a thorough research by Hindus.
