maadhav
thanks govindaram ji. i was thinking to get it, and krishna inspired you to post this. as the picture in your post shows, some parts are not readable because there is no much color contrast between the text and the background. if some one knows how to make it most readable (making high color contrast, or b/w) please tell how to do it. thanks. Pankaja_Dasa
Yes, what I found was the colour made it more easy on the eyes, its not exactly a book. A computer screen is never ideal to read anything for too long. Hence the blue background. I was wondering about making to 2 versions. One with simple background, but I don't think its really needed. Anyway I am happy to recieve positive comments. Just don't anybody ask me to do 18,000 verses of Bhagavatam! I hope people pass this link out. I think its really professional even though I used simple technique, I am an novice. But some how Krishna makes it all look good. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

maadhav
Here is a way to make each verse's background light yellow, which makes all text more readable. change bgcolor codes to FFFFB4. Instructions: 1. View a verse 2. view source code 3. Find bgcolor=" 4. Delate any code between the quotes. 5 Insert FFFFB4 between the quotes. Then the code will look like: bgcolor="#FFFFB4" 6. Save the file. 7. close the file. 8. open the file again and you will see the verse text with light yellow color. it is surely more readable. I believe that this change is not violating copyrights becaue we are not changing the message. we are only changing the background color of our choice. besides, we do it for personal use and not for commercial purpose. If any devotee does it for each verse, then please put it on a web for others to have a copy. thanks.
Pankaja_Dasa
But you'd have to change 700 Individual pages. So far I didn't get any complaints. One thing you could do is to change the colour of your screen. To grey scale. Thats the easiest way. Anyway you can't please everybody. I did try. haribol! All you need to do is drop a file into whatever folder you extracted the files into. This time you can choose any folder not just Program Files. I may make a file for you. [better late than never]. But I cannot figure out a style that suits the one that already made /images/graemlins/smile.gif
