Guest guest
for statistic every two seconds a human dies.. is this a curse of god? No it is the natural consequence of being here in the material world so tsunami is the same thing, when you will die you will feel it exactly like the tsunami, no difference
barney
This is for not respecting nature. Nature is reminding man not to mess with it. The sea is a live giving source but man is doing to it is very obvious. The big powers testing their nuclear bombs in sea. Planting hazardous divices for scientif test without realizing that it will harm micro organs that is vital to the survival of other living creatures of the sea. It is man's own bad action that triggers such devastating consequences upon man. It is not only the sea but on land too. The earth should be respected as a live giving source for all living creatures includoing man. Without it there would be no life form. But what do we see, man destroying forest in the name of decelopment and wealth. Trees are cut down indiscriminately for money, clearing jungles without consedering the lives of other creatures survival. All this action will eventually cause hardship to man himself. Goid has nothing to do with your onw action. Every action there is a reaction and that is the law of nature. But I can assure you that modern man would not want to listen to such lectures coz it does not bring any material gain to him so, he will continue with his quest for success and gain while nature will go on teaching him lessons much greater than TSUNAMIS. Guest guest
God does not punish or curse any one. Nobody gives sorrow or happiness to anybody. It is our karma that brings the result. That is why we should always try to do good deeds so that it will bring only blessings. I feel nature's calamity is due to sins committed by people with ahankar & power. May God make the bad people good. HariBhol!
maadhav
no. but when people mistreat nature and earth by doing adharma, then nature can respond like this. hindus consider the earth as mother, and treat her with love like mother. the western powers exploit earth like as if they own it. this will have garve consequences, and all will suffer. feed cow grass naturally grown, and cow will give very nutritious milk. feed her meat of her own or antibiotics, and then her milk will make you suffer becaues you made her suffer. this is god's justice system, infalible. tesh
The tsumani is natural disaster. Our sharstras like the Geeta tell us that we live in the materal world which is always subject to creation-destruction, birth and death, nothing is permenanent like it is in Paramapadam Vaikuntha. Natural disasters are just manifestations of the material energy. Bhagavan does not punish or curse, Our worldly suffering and joy accodring to the Geeta are due to karma or reaction of past action. Bhagavan does not therefore punish being under the influence of matrial energy we cause our suffering, God is there ready for us at anytime when we want to be free of all these things. so Please dont think that GOD makes us suffer. Sathya
God does not punish us in that way. God is part of everything animate and inanimate and so why do people want to disassociate themselves from God. God does not punish. We live out the consequences of our actions but I believe that that is not the same as punishment.
maadhav
okay. it is just a different way of looking at it.
Guest guest
Re >>> but when people mistreat nature and earth by doing adharma, then nature can respond like this. <<<< Tsunamis caused by earthquakes are very natural and normal phenomenae. A tsunami should not be seen as INVOKED by treating earth 'badly' or as RESULT of bad deeds. Even if mankind would be whiped of the earth or we would all act as saints, then still tsunamis would occur from time to time. A tsunami just belongs to our earth environmentsystem and needs to be there. Another example. We all know wat vulcano eruptions are. They erupt from time to time and sometimes people get killed by them. But do you think that vulcano's don't erupt on remote islands? Ofcourse they do. If some one believes that it is due to karma,(bad)luck or whatever that people happen to be or live in the neigbourhood, fine. Maybe this is what some meant. But saying that these disasters are actually THE RESULT of bad deeds is completely illogical. My symphaty goes out to all the victims in Indonesia, Srilanka , India, Thailand and Malaysia. Gr. Guest guest
Is Dwaraka struck by a Tsunami which can be caused by a volcanic eruption?
Guest guest
Todays Sankaracharya is a Criminal. Punishing a Criminal under law is not an act against God. If he is true god will help him, since he was not true god is punishing him.
