M_A_R_A
it should be mentioned that the human body is colonized by bacteria (some harmful, some not), such as E. coli (in the gut), which can lead to urinary tract infections in women, so what does this say? in women, 100% of those that have sex will be having herpes simplex virus in their vagina, some forms harmful, other s not necessariyl. what does this say? your post proves nothing.. Guest guest
These are just the physical aspects of vegetarianism. There is a mental aspect also which you are demonstrating which is obsessive mental disorder... obsessive thinking about sex and thinking women as objects..... This also poves your sanskaras which you have got so far..... This is whtat happens when there is total exhautsion of spirituality and basic instincts take over... You are a lost case! sampath
Vegetarianism is not good or bad based on diseases it causes to humans.Thats a very selfish view. Vegetarianism is good only since it is ethical and its a fair treatment of animals.Killing animals is equal to murder for which we have to answer god

Guest guest
This is for people for whom vegetarianism is a religious idea propagated by Hindus. There are mutli dimensions to killing of animal not just disease and ethical. They are: Physical aspects..........diseases Mental aspects...........aggresiveness/violence Ethical..................you have mentioned Ecological...............disasters due to wiping out of animal races/extinctions Religious................Gods doesn't advocates killing Economical..............animals are resources Social..................animal can be reliable freinds don't kill them love them Utility................they have more developed senses and can sense dangers Hope this helps! Jai Sri krishna! Gautama
sampath
gauthamji, I agree with you that killing animals is horrible act.My point is "unbelievers wont understand the ethical aspects of not killing animals. But they will listen if we say 'eating animals is bad for YOUR health' I only said that I found that this view was very selfish. For believers the only reason not to eat animals can be ethics and morals. For us we dont eat animals since its disgusting to murder poor animals. No other reason matters for devotees. This is what I said.
