Guest guest
Did ancient Indians (Hindus), including Krishna and Rama, eat meat? In the Vedas (especially, Yajurveda), I heard, meat was liberally mentioned / approved. Can anyone substantiate this with appropriate references to the scriptures, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana? sampath
I dont have references to scriptures,But i dont think that they banned meat eating in toto.Meat eating was permitted for shathriyas and sudhras, while banned for bhramins and vysyas.
