maadhav
first, hinduism has no mythology. being a hindu and think hinduism has mythology is self insulting and self defeating.
Guest guest
I think he's refferring to the Puranas. There's different opinions on the Puranas, some Hindu's see them as nothing but mythology, some see them as largely mythology with some historical truth in them. Guest guest
"There's different opinions on the Puranas, some Hindu's see them as nothing but mythology" it is nonsense if some vedic books are muthology, why the others are not ? if vedic scriptures say to me lies when they speak of krsna lilas, why they are truthful when they, in the upanishad, speak of some principle? it is simply maya.... a personal god is much less confortable for sinners and rascals than an impersonal energy, the brahman and so on...
