Guest guest
According to Vaishnavites Kalki will be here at the end of Kaliyuga. But, who according to Shivites (who dont believe in Vishnu) will come at the end of Kali yuga instead of Kalki? I am not talking about Smartha's who are Shivites but do believe and respect Vishnu and Avataras, but I am asking about orthodox shivites. Guest guest
The word Shiva as used by pre-vedic Dravidians appear to be rough Tamil equivalent to Sanskrit word Brahman. You can worship in any form, using any names like Visnu, Rudra, or even Shiva itself. Since god is everywhere and IS everything, I don't see any reason for god to chose a particular human form to show his presence as avatar. Guest guest
Hare Krishna, "The word Shiva as used by pre-vedic Dravidians appear to be rough Tamil equivalent to Sanskrit word Brahman." Only the Dravidians are Vedic. Only Sanskrit and Tamil existed side by side thousands of years ago. Only Shiva means All-Auspicious. "You can worship in any form, using any names like Visnu, Rudra, or even Shiva itself." If one wants to worship God, he should worship Vishnu. If he wants to worship Shiva, then worship him as param-vaishnava, as per Lord Shiva's advice in the Srimad Bhagavatam and Padma Purana. "Since god is everywhere and IS everything, I don't see any reason for god to chose a particular human form to show his presence as avatar." God is both within and without. He is Brahman - allpervading. He is Paramatma - Supersoul. He is Bhagavan -Personality. Therefore all three are eternal.

Guest guest
Hare Krishna, "u dumb dogs, the aryan nonsense came into india & destroy the TRUE hinduism..." One adjustment: The aryan invasion theory is the nonsense spouted by the British scholars who came to india and that established what we now know as Hinduism. "the true hinduism is worshipping Shiv/shakthi." ...as the highest devotees of Krishna. "ONE GOD ONLY!!" Agreed. "from the aryans u get ur vishnu" Vishnu is the source of everything, He has no source. "tats y in these Srimad Bhagavatam and Padma Purana they degrade Shiva, hidding the truth!!" In what way is Shiva degraded? He is worshipped by many great devotees in the Srimad Bhagavatama and Padma Purana. Your aspiring servant.
