Sirona
If Shri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead - what then is Shri Balarama for?
Maitreya
Sirona, Here are two verses from the Caitanya- caritamrta Adi lila ch.6 verses 76 and 77. Not to speak of others, even Lord Baladeva, the Supreme Personality of Godhead,is full of emotions like pure friendship and paternal love. He also considers Himself a servant of Lord Krsna.Indeed, who is there who does not have this conception of being a servant of Lord Krsna? Krishna also likes to taste devotional service to Himself in various ways. There is much more on Balarama's expansions as bhakta-avatars and Their serving mood in Cc. Thank you for starting such a nice thread. Hare Krishna
animesh
Shri Balaram is considered to be the incarnation of Sheshnag (the serpent god). If you can get Brahm-Vaivart Puran, please read it.
