Gauracandra
The following is from Srila Gour Govinda Swami’s “The Last Limit of Bhakti”: My Guru is Radharani In this line, in our guru-parampara Krsna is at top, but Krsna says, Radhikara prema-guru, ami-sisya nata Sada ama nana nrtye nacaya udbhata (Caitanya-caritamrta Adi 4.124) “My guru is Radharani,” Krsna says. “In loving affairs My guru is Radharani, so She always makes Me dance according to Her tune.” So who is at the topmost platform of guru? That is Radharani. So although in our guru-parampara the topmost position is Krsna, He says, “Radharani is My guru in loving affairs and She makes Me dance according to Her tune. I’ll dance, I’ll dance. Ami-sisya nata, I am Her disciple and nata, dancer.”

Guest guest
Tomorrow is the appearance day of Srimati Radharani. Here is the story relating to her appearance in Vrindaban. I heard it from one devotee who heard it from H.H. Gour Govinda Swami, who was the undisputable master in revealing and explaining the various pastimes of their Lordship Sri Sri Radha Krishna and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai. I presume i have recollected this story right. If anything needs to be corrected, others can point out. Mountain Vindhya saw that personified Himalayas had a beautiful daughter, whose name was parvati. She also wanted to have nice daughters. So she underwent austerities for many years, and got Radharani and Chandravali. There were very beautiful. Putana who was flying over them, saw them and kidnapped them. Vindhya immeadiately went to a sage who had the capacity to kill putana. When the sage uttered the mantra that was capable of killing putana, putana who was by that time flying over Vrndaban dropped the two daughters and fled away. King Vrsabhanu lifted radharani and brought her to the palace. He thought that the daughter was blind as Radharani did not open her eyes. When the residents of Vrindaban came to know that king Vrishabanu had a beautiful daugher, all of them came with some presents to see her. Maharaja Nanda along with Baby Krishna also came to see Radharani. Baby Krishna was standing beside the cradle that had Radharani and he put his face right across the face of radharani. All of a sudden Radharani opened her eyes and saw Lord Krsna for the first time. The parents were relieved that she was not blind.
