Tarun
Sir Paul Calls for End to Hunting World Entertainment News Network SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has appealed to the British government to ban fox hunting. The former BEATLE is an animal activist and is angered that the bill has failed to pass through government on several occasions. In a letter to Prime Minister TONY BLAIR, the musician called for a free vote in the HOUSE OF COMMONS on the controversial "sport" as soon as possible. The letter says, "Your government has promised to give the House of Commons an early opportunity to express its view, to have a free vote and to enable Parliament to reach a conclusion on the issue. The time to do this has now come. "We want to live in a country where it is illegal to inflict pain and suffering by hunting wild animals with dogs - an activity that we along with most British people believe is cruel, unnecessary, unacceptable and outdated." Tarun
To ride on horses, chasing dogs, sniffing for fox. Hmm. Where have we seen this before?

Tarun
McCartney Criticized for 9/11 Promo World Entertainment News Network Former BEATLE SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has come under fire from furious New Yorkers for seeming to profit from the September 11 attacks on their city. The singer/songwriter was lauded by Americans for his response to the tragedy, which included recording a charity single to aid firefighters' and victims' families and hosting a star-studded memorial concert. But now that the fanfare has died down, the star has been accused of trying to profit from the disaster - a promo for the single FREEDOM that's been posted on his official website seems to cash in on US fans' patriotism. The site reads, "Show your American spirit by purchasing your copy today!" "That's not the American spirit, and it's in bad taste," says LEE IELPI, a retired firefighter whose firefighter son JONATHAN died at the World Trade Center. McCartney's rep PAUL FREUNDLICH insists, "It was certainly not his intention to mislead anyone or capitalize off September 11. I can definitely see how the verbiage can be misleading, and we're going to take it down."
