leyh Posted May 5, 2002 Report Share Posted May 5, 2002 I got this exchange from an episoid of the television series Gilmore Girls.In one scene,Rory Gilmore is at the door of the house where Dean (the guy whom she is trying to patch things up with) stays and she is talking to Dean's kid sister: Rory:How are you today? Kid Sister: Fine. Rory:Good...good Kid Sister:Are you here to see my brother? Rory:Uh...no, no..not at all...I'm um...with the Girl Scouts. Kid Sister:I'm gonna be a Girl Scout some day, I'm a Brownie now. Rory:Oh, good...that's a ...that's an excellent stepping stone. Kid Sister:Um..where's your uniform? Rory:Oh we're not doing uniforms anymore.You know,we're trying to blend in --- relate better to the average person.It was a very successful strategy for the Hare Krishnas, so...
