Gauracandra
Just something interesting I came across. There is new reason to think the remains of Luke the Evangelist may lie in Padua, Italy. Scientists analyzed the DNA of a tooth found in a coffin there long thought to contain St. Luke's bones. They concluded that the tooth could have come from a native of Antioch, on the eastern Mediterranean, said to be St. Luke's birthplace. And they said the tooth was old enough to have been that of someone who lived when St. Luke lived. That's not exactly drop-dead proof the tooth was St. Luke's, but, says the lead scientist, it "doesn't contradict the idea," either.
